Job Description

One Lifestyle, Ltd. is part of Lifestyle Communities (LC), an organization dedicated to fostering meaningful connections through various hospitality and lifestyle venues. LC is known for its commitment to creating spaces where people feel a sense of belonging, connection, and community. The company operates with a strong foundation of core values, including performance, quality, communication, teamwork, and leadership, and is driven by a purpose to build connections that elevate the guest experience. With a focus on excellence, LC cultivates an environment where employees can find purpose, career growth, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact. This particular role exists within the Back of House department and is part-time, reporting directly to the General Manager. The wage category is non-exempt, indicating that it is an hourly-paid position. The role is based in several possible locations including Nashville, Tennessee; Brier Creek, North Carolina; Pflugerville, Texas; or Columbus, Ohio, with rare travel to other local stores as needed.

The Baker position at One Lifestyle, Ltd. is integral to the smooth operation of The Goat, a unique restaurant experience that extends beyond food to build social connections around shared meals. The Goat’s philosophy is centered on delivering bright, flavorful, and shareable dishes that encourage togetherness and celebration. The Baker supports this mission by preparing a wide variety of baked goods including breads, pastries, and desserts that align with the restaurant’s flavor-forward, fresh ingredient-driven approach. This role requires skillful execution of recipes and a conscientious attention to quality, consistency, taste, and presentation. Bakers will operate various baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers and will need to maintain a clean and organized workspace to uphold food safety and sanitation standards. Because this position plays a key role in daily restaurant operations, it requires availability during early hours to meet production and service timelines. The Baker must work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and replenishment of baked products so the guest experience remains seamless and exceptional.

This role suits individuals with at least one year of kitchen service experience who thrive in a fast-paced, high-quality culinary environment and who are passionate about craft baking that enhances social dining. Employees must be physically capable of standing for long periods and performing tasks that involve manual dexterity, including handling food and operating kitchen equipment confidently and safely. The work environment is a busy kitchen setting exposed to heat and steam, requiring a practical approach to safety and teamwork. Lifestyle Communities supports equal opportunity employment and reasonable accommodations to employees with disabilities to perform essential job functions. By joining One Lifestyle, Ltd. as a Baker, candidates become part of a vibrant team dedicated to culinary excellence, community engagement, and creating experiences that foster genuine connections among guests and staff alike.
