The role demands precision in weighing and measuring ingredients, mixing doughs and batters by hand or mixer, shaping and cutting dough, and controlling baking conditions like oven temperature and timing. Bakers must also manage product storage, ensuring proper labeling, rotation, and cleanliness of the bake shop area to maintain safety and hygiene standards. Physical stamina is essential as the job involves standing for extended periods, walking, bending, lifting up to 35 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
