We are currently seeking to hire a full-time Baker at our facility located at BOA - 7105 Corporate Drive, Plano, TX 75024. This role operates on a predictable Monday through Friday schedule from 6:00 am to 2:45 pm, offering weekends and most federal holidays off—providing an excellent work-life balance. This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $18.00 to $20.00 and includes a comprehensive benefits package tailored to support the wellbeing and development of our associates.
The Baker will play an essential role in the preparation and production of a variety of baked goods including breads, pies, cakes, cookies, and other pastries in accordance with recipe and production specifications. The successful candidate will bring 2 to 3 years of experience in baking and dessert decorating, demonstrating skill and attention to detail in every product made. Responsibilities extend beyond baking to include maintaining stringent sanitation and safety standards, proper inventory tracking, and ensuring the quality and presentation of all foods served. The Baker will also be expected to interact courteously with customers, address concerns, and contribute positively to the kitchen team dynamic.

Job Requirements
- Must have 2-3 years of experience baking and decorating desserts
- availability to work full time Monday through Friday, 6:00 am - 2:45 pm
- ability to follow recipes and production standards
- ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation
- capability to work efficiently under peak production periods
- willingness to interact courteously with customers
- ability to complete assigned shift work in a timely manner
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of baking and dessert decorating experience
- knowledge of baking techniques and food safety standards
- strong attention to detail
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- good communication and customer service skills
- ability to maintain cleanliness and orderliness
Job Duties
- Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries per production and catering sheets
- assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
- ensure proper food preparation using approved recipes and equipment
- assist with completion of production records including waste tracking and informing supervisor of supplies
- maintain food presentation, quality, portion control and serving temperatures
- maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment and work area
- handle food safely following safety regulations
- clean equipment and workstation thoroughly
- interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly manner
- keep up with peak production calmly and efficiently
- check food presentation and display standards
- follow sanitation and safety principles, including OSHA standards
- complete shift work in timely and thorough manner
- perform other duties as assigned
