Job Requirements
- Must obey all state and federal guidelines regarding health and safety policies
- wear proper headwear: hat, hairnet, etc
- wash hands frequently with hot water from elbows down for not less than 20 seconds
- ability to lift boxes and products ranging between 20 lbs up to 60 lbs
- capacity to push/pull weights between 30 lbs to 200 lbs (items on cart/dolly)
- capability to bend/stoop and place product below waist level (including shelves and racks)
- ability to reach above shoulder level for product placement
- willingness to clean and maintain bakery tables and bins
- walk constantly from one area to another on a daily basis
- work in environments with varying temperatures including freezer, refrigerator, and ovens
- willingness to assist with special written orders to ensure customer satisfaction
- capability to work with varying types of chemicals for proper cleaning and maintenance
- ability to carry, lift, push, pull, bend/stoop, and climb ladders
- commitment to wearing required protective attire and following hygiene protocols
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior baking or food preparation experience preferred
- knowledge of health and safety regulations in food handling
- ability to operate bakery machinery
- strong physical stamina and dexterity
- ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and quality
- good communication skills to assist in customer service and team coordination

Job Duties
- Inspect machinery at beginning of day for potential repairs and report need for repairs to bakery manager
- prepare breads, pastries, etc
- clean machinery at end of day
- lift boxes and product ranging between 20 lbs up to 60 lbs
- place boxes/product onto dolly or cart
- push/pull between 30 lbs up to 200 lbs (items on cart/dolly)
- bend/stoop pick up and or place product below waist level (including shelves and racks)
- place product onto bins and position for sale
- grasp/grip product to prepare for sales floor by either cutting or cleaning product
- constant sweeping/pushing broom to pick up debris to keep work area clean
- place and remove product from bakery cooler, proofing, and ovens (including shelving and bakery bins)
- reaching above shoulder level (produce placement on sales floor plus shelving/rack system in bakery warehouse areas)
- place debris/trash/recycle cardboard in respective areas
- clean and maintain bakery tables and bins
- walk constantly from one area to another on a daily basis
- work in different varying temperatures from (freezer, refrigerator, ovens, etc.)
- assist with written special orders (to match the customers indications precisely) to ensure offering excellent customer service
