Currently, ESS Support Services is hiring for full-time Baker positions at their mining camps located at 201 Post Road, Anchorage, AK. These positions require candidates to have a Food Worker Card and relevant experience to qualify. The pay range varies from $20.00 to $23.00 per hour, reflecting the company’s commitment to rewarding skilled professionals in the culinary field. This role involves preparing a variety of baked goods including breads, pies, cakes, cookies, and other pastries. Bakers will follow detailed recipes and production specifications to accommodate daily production plans. They are expected to maintain high standards for food quality, portion control, and presentation to ensure customer satisfaction.

As a Baker, the successful candidate will also handle inventory management by assisting in production record-keeping and waste tracking tasks while communicating low supply situations to supervisors. Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment is crucial, and Bakers will be responsible for ensuring all equipment, supplies, and utensils are maintained according to company and OSHA safety standards. The role requires a proactive approach in handling customer interactions and resolving complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
