Job Description
Dunkin is a well-known global brand specializing in coffee and baked goods, operating thousands of restaurants worldwide and recognized for its commitment to delivering high-quality products and friendly service. Dunkin in Minnesota, operated under the Taneja Restaurants franchise, is part of this large family, dedicated to fueling the day with delicious donuts, coffee, and other baked treats. This franchise values its team members as the key ingredients that make up a supportive environment where employees uplift each other and contribute positively to their local communities. Dunkin embraces a culture that motivates employees to grow professionally while maintaining a strong connection to the community, emphasizing teamwork, excellent service, and operational standards.
The Baker - Team Member role at Dunkin is a critical position focused on producing a wide range of baked goods including donuts, breads, and pastries according to Dunkin's exacting quality standards. This role requires not only baking expertise but also a strong sense of responsibility in maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards. The baker is expected to work primarily overnight and early morning shifts, often with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks effectively. This includes following detailed recipes and daily production schedules (par sheets) designed to meet customer demand and company guidelines. The position also demands physical stamina due to the nature of the work, such as standing for prolonged periods and lifting heavy items. In addition to baking, team members may be required to assist in other operational areas, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support the team in various capacities. Dunkin offers a range of benefits including a flexible schedule, paid time off, and tuition assistance via a partnership with Southern New Hampshire University, reflecting its investment in employee development and work-life balance. Working at Dunkin provides an opportunity to join a brand with a rich heritage and a strong community focus while building skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
