Job Description

One Lifestyle, Ltd. is a dynamic company that operates within the hospitality industry, dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences through its commitment to quality and community. As part of Lifestyle Communities (LC), One Lifestyle embraces a culture built around the core values of Performance, Quality, Communication, Teamwork, and Leadership. These values shape every aspect of the company’s operations, driving both personal and professional excellence while fostering a sense of belonging among its employees and guests. At LC, every staff member is encouraged to find their "why" — a meaningful connection to their work and the people they serve — helping to cultivate an environment where individuals thrive and contribute to a lasting impact within their communities.

The company proudly supports and operates The Goat, a restaurant known not just for its food but as a vibrant social hub where community and connection are at the forefront. The Goat’s culinary philosophy emphasizes bright, flavorful, and shareable dishes that inspire conversation and togetherness. With an emphasis on lighter, balanced flavors and fresh ingredients, the restaurant offers approachable execution that delights guests while maintaining a relaxed, inviting atmosphere. The success of The Goat rests on every team member’s dedication to delivering great food, genuine hospitality, and creating memorable moments.

Within this inspiring setting, One Lifestyle is currently seeking a talented and passionate Baker to join their Back of House team on a part-time basis. Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily restaurant operations by preparing a variety of baked goods including bread, pastries, and desserts. This position requires adherence to recipes and production schedules, precise measuring and mixing of ingredients, safe operation of baking equipment, and strict quality control to maintain the excellent standards expected by the company.

The role offers a hands-on opportunity to contribute to the culinary excellence and guest satisfaction that define The Goat’s unique dining experience. Bakers will need to manage early shifts to meet operational timelines, maintain cleanliness and organization within their workspace, and collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and restocking of baked products. This role not only demands technical baking skills but also a strong commitment to food safety, sanitation guidelines, and teamwork. The physical nature of the work involves long periods of standing, walking, and handling of baking equipment within a kitchen atmosphere that includes exposure to heat and steam.

Ideal candidates will bring at least one year of related kitchen service experience, a passion for baking, and a readiness to uphold the high standards of One Lifestyle and Lifestyle Communities. This position is based in either Nashville, TN; Brier Creek, NC; Pflugerville, TX; or Columbus, OH, with occasional travel to local stores as needed. One Lifestyle and Lifestyle Communities are Equal Opportunity Employers, committed to diversity and inclusion in their workforce. Anyone ready to join a vibrant team dedicated to excellence and connection will find a rewarding opportunity in this part-time baker role.
