Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old to operate certain bakery equipment
  • ability to work independently
  • strong multitasking skills
  • able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • able to lift and move heavy dough bins to and from the proofing chamber
  • capable of repetitive gripping and flexing of hands and arms
  • able to work near very hot equipment and handle hot pans using baking gloves
  • able to repeatedly twist and turn body while sliding pans in and out of proofing chamber and bakery oven
  • able to stand for scheduled shift
  • able to bend, reach, and kneel to retrieve products or clean designated restaurant areas
  • strict compliance with safety and sanitation standards
  • punctuality and adherence to uniform and grooming standards
  • must follow all company policies and procedures
  • positive attitude with consistent smiling
  • must be at least 18 years old

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior bakery or baking experience preferred
  • knowledge of bakery safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to measure ingredients accurately
  • strong multitasking and time management skills
  • ability to work independently
  • familiarity with OSHA and SERVSAFE standards

Job Duties

  • Bake batches according to daily batch/order sheets
  • produce consistently high-quality bakery products
  • be extremely precise with weights and measures of all recipe items
  • maintain a clean workstation at all times
  • properly clean all pans and baking sheets during the shift (minimum 30 pans per day)
  • assist managers in determining current and needed bread levels and baking sequence
  • strictly comply with all bakery safety and health code requirements including OSHA and SERVSAFE guidelines
  • complete all baking tasks in a timely manner
