This luxurious hotel is an urban oasis well-positioned near the iconic Gateway Arch and amid St. Louis’s entertainment district. Guests at this property enjoy spectacular river views, exquisite dining options such as Cinder House restaurant, and relaxing amenities like private poolside cabanas on the Sky Terrace. The hotel’s prime location near the Horseshoe Casino and other city attractions provides guests with endless opportunities to explore and experience the rich culture and vibrant energy of historic St. Louis.

The role of Baker at Four Seasons St. Louis is an exciting opportunity for culinary professionals specializing in bread production. Reporting to the Executive Pastry Chef and overseen by the Executive Chef of the hotel, the Baker is responsible for preparing a variety of artisan breads and assisting with other production tasks in the pastry kitchen. The position requires close collaboration with a team of bakers, pastry cooks, and kitchen staff, all devoted to upholding Four Seasons’ high standards of quality, professionalism, and hospitality. The Baker role is essential in maintaining the kitchen’s reputation for excellence by ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of taste, safety, and presentation.

This full-time position offers a schedule primarily from Tuesday to Saturday, starting early in the morning at 5:00 a.m. and finishing at 1:00 p.m. It is classified into levels Baker I or Baker II depending on experience and will be determined during the interview process. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and excellent communication skills to work effectively in a team. The role also emphasizes adherence to food safety, sanitation protocols, proper production techniques, and stock management to support the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen.
