Job Requirements

Cooking and baking experience in a commercial kitchen highly preferred
Personal transportation to commute to and from work location
Ability to stand for 4-8 hour shifts and move about the kitchen
Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and forearm motions
Ability to taste and perceive smells
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members
Ability to lift up to 5 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
Availability for daytime shifts
Willingness to work part-time or full-time
Ability to work independently and closely with others in limited space

Job Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and respect for cleanliness and sanitation
High integrity and personal responsibility
Openness to constructive criticism and constantly striving to improve
Ability to multi-task with ease and problem solve under challenging conditions
Ability to perform basic math calculations
Experience in commercial kitchens and bakeries highly preferred

Job Duties

Maintain high quality and consistent product standards
Maintain a clean work environment
Prep ingredients needed for bakery items
Follow recipes to prepare baked goods and ingredients needed for orders, adjusting ingredient amounts to meet order volumes
Monitor oven temperatures to ensure consistent product
Organize and label items to prepare for assembly and delivery shifts
Test and taste products regularly to maintain familiarity with products and quality standards
Support a positive work environment
Perform other duties as assigned by kitchen manager and supervisors
Communicate with team members and management to solve problems
