Job Requirements
- Previous bakery experience preferred
- Ability to follow recipes and production guidelines
- Ability to maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work full-time 38 hours per week including Tuesday and Friday through Sunday
- Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
- Ability to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to interact positively with customers
- Authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications

- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Customer service skills to interact positively with customers
- Ability to perform tasks quickly and accurately during peak periods
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area
- Ability to keep accurate production records
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Basic understanding of equipment operation and maintenance
Job Duties
- Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per the provided production and catering sheets
- Assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
- Ensure proper food preparation by utilizing approved recipes and production standards
- Follow the use of proper equipment
- Assist with the completion of production records including waste tracking, used/unused portions and product shortages
- Inform supervisor when supplies are low
- Ensure proper presentation, food quality, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures
- Maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies and utensils
- Handle food items following safety regulations during preparation and service
- Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving
- Keep display equipment clean and free of debris
- Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly and service-oriented manner
- Relay relevant concerns to supervisors
- Keep up with peak production and service calmly, accurately and efficiently
- Check that all food is presented, served and displayed per standards
- Follow principles of sanitation and safety, ensuring corporate and OSHA standards
- Complete shift work in a timely and thorough manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
