Job Requirements

  • One or more years baking baguettes, sourdoughs, and enriched doughs
  • Knowledge of using poolish and levain starters
  • Experience in a high-volume artisan bakery preferred
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Capacity to complete prep and baking within the day
  • Availability for early morning shifts starting at 3:30 AM
  • Weekend availability including Saturday and Sunday

Job Qualifications

  • One or more years of baking experience with artisan breads
  • Knowledge of poolish and levain starters
  • Experience in a high-volume bakery preferred
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong time management skills
  • Willingness to work early mornings and weekends

Job Duties

  • Bake rustic breads including baguettes, sourdoughs, and enriched doughs
  • Prepare dough using traditional starters such as poolish and levain
  • Manage daily bread production from prep to baking
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area
  • Work early morning shifts starting at 3:30 AM
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to meet baking needs
  • Ensure quality control and consistency of all baked products
