Currently, Alaska Corral LLC is seeking energetic and friendly individuals to join their team as Bakers. This role is essential in maintaining the quality and variety of baked goods offered at the restaurant. The Baker will be responsible for preparing an assortment of bakery items such as yeast rolls, cakes, pies, specialty desserts, and other freshly baked products. This position requires a strong attention to detail with a focus on freshness, speed, cleanliness, and organization. Bakers play a critical role in both food production and guest service by ensuring that all bakery items meet the company’s recipes and quality standards.
The ideal candidate for the Baker position will be involved in all aspects of bakery operations, including hand-making yeast rolls and other pastry items, preparing breakfast bakery items particularly during weekends to meet production demands, and closely following the buffet production system for compliance with quality and shelf life requirements. Moreover, Bakers need to ensure that every product in the bakery is fresh, visually appealing, and served at the appropriate temperature. Adherence to recipe yields and portions is also an important part of the role to maintain consistency and cost control.
In addition to food preparation, Bakers contribute to the overall guest experience by being friendly and courteous, assisting guests with their bakery selections, and working efficiently to ensure just-in-time delivery of baked goods. Furthermore, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in compliance with local health department regulations is paramount. Bakers will follow a duty roster to meet service, quality, and cleanliness standards, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both customers and staff.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a bakery or food production setting preferred
- Ability to work weekends and flexible hours
