Job Requirements

- Previous baking experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends

Job Duties
- Produce our entire line of baked goods quality cakes cupcakes cookies biscotti and any other production items as delegated by a manager
- Ensure exceptional product by following recipes understanding prep procedures and maintaining raw materials quality
- Make sure our baked goods are baked and decorated according to Carlos Bakery product standards
- Keep up with pace of store and customer flow
- Avoid overproduction during slow business weeks
- Rotate product in freezer walk-in using FIFO method
- Understand proper use of all equipment ovens mixers sheeters scales walk-in and freezer
- Maintain a clean production area
- Clean and sanitize all equipment work areas containers and utensils
- Be quick accurate and organized
- Respect your customers and co-workers space and time
- Prepare special orders to ensure customer specifications are met
- Make sure customers receive exceptional customer service at all times
- Ensure operations are in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Greet assist provide efficient service and thank guests in a prompt courteous friendly and business-like manner in order to promote the company image as a service-oriented operation
- Guide FOH staff on product questions and offer assistance in finding or suggesting product selection to customers
- Take specialty cake orders as requested by customers e g special occasion cakes party platters etc
- Enter all specialty cake sales information into Salesforce
- Perform other duties as directed by a manager
