We are currently seeking a part-time Bakery Clerk to join our bakery team at Sprouts Farmers Market. The Bakery Clerk will be responsible for preparing, baking, packaging, and merchandising high-quality baked goods such as cookies, bread, and muffins using proven ingredients and recipes. The Bakery Clerk works closely with the Bakery Manager to assist in a wide range of bakery operations including product preparation, packaging, pricing, and ensuring that all baked items are presented to customers in an appealing and hygienic manner. The role also involves stock management, product rotation, and receiving shipments to verify accuracy and quality. This position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates reliability by maintaining a flexible schedule—including nights, weekends, and holidays—and interacts positively with customers and team members alike.

In addition to technical baking skills, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to follow directions, and work effectively as part of a team. Physical stamina is essential, as the job involves standing for prolonged periods, handling bakery trays, and transferring items without mechanical assistance. Commitment to adhering to food safety, health regulations, and acquiring a Food Handlers permit is also required.
