Founded in 1950, Dunkin' is America’s favorite all-day, everyday stop for coffee and baked goods. Over the decades, Dunkin' has established itself as a market leader in the coffee and bakery industry, excelling in categories such as hot regular/decaf/flavored coffee, iced coffee, donuts, bagels, and muffins. The brand has earned a No. 1 ranking for customer loyalty in the coffee category by Brand Keys for 14 years running, underscoring its dedication to customer satisfaction and quality. Dunkin' boasts more than 13,100 restaurants in 41 countries worldwide, solidifying its global presence. Headquartered in Canton, Massachusetts, Dunkin' is part of the Dunkin' Brands Group, Inc. family of companies, known for maintaining strong brand standards and innovative growth strategies within the competitive food and beverage sector.
The Dunkin' Baker is a pivotal role within the restaurant team, responsible for the production and preparation of a variety of baked goods including donuts, munchkins, muffins, croissants, and bagels, among others. This overnight position requires a highly responsible, punctual, and self-motivated individual capable of working independently to meet the rigorous demands of production schedules. The baker ensures the quality and consistency of all bakery products by adhering to specific recipes and brand standards while maintaining all equipment and production areas in clean and safe conditions.
In this role, the baker will manage ovens, production equipment, freezers, floors, walls, and the setup of bakery cases to guarantee an efficient flow of products ready for morning sales. Food safety is paramount, with strict compliance to food safety protocols, including accurate labeling and date markings of all products. As the position operates during overnight hours, from approximately 8 pm to 5 am, the baker plays a crucial role in setting the stage for the restaurant's daily operations by ensuring fresh, high-quality baked goods are available at opening.
The ideal candidate is someone who values cleanliness, organization, and resilience under pressure, able to execute multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities extend beyond baking to include finishing donuts with fillings and frostings, restocking displays, and end-of-shift cleaning and sanitation. Physical requirements of the position include the ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and perform various movements such as bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
Dunkin' offers a supportive work environment with flexible scheduling options to meet individual needs, paid on-the-job training, and opportunities for career growth through promotions from within. Employees enjoy free meals, discounts, medical benefits, and a 401k with employer match. Additionally, there is an employee referral program providing cash incentives. Working at Dunkin' not only provides a fulfilling and dynamic role in food production but also offers the chance to be part of a well-respected, global brand with a rich history and strong community presence.
