Job Description
Dunkin' is a renowned global brand, recognized as America’s favorite all-day, everyday destination for high-quality coffee and delicious baked goods. Founded in 1950, Dunkin' has cemented its position as a market leader in numerous categories including hot and iced regular, decaf, and flavored coffees, as well as donuts, bagels, and muffins. With more than 13,100 restaurants spanning 41 countries worldwide, Dunkin' continues to grow and innovate, maintaining a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and loyalty. The company is headquartered in Canton, Massachusetts and is a proud member of the Dunkin’ Brands Group, Inc. family of companies. Its consistent success is reflected in being ranked number one for customer loyalty in the coffee category by Brand Keys for 14 consecutive years.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated BOS Baker to join our team. This pivotal overnight role primarily involves producing a variety of baked goods such as donuts, munchkins, muffins, croissants, bagels, and other prep products essential to daily restaurant operations. The baker is expected to work independently, shouldering full responsibility for the production process, and ensuring that all items meet Dunkin's high standards. Additionally, this role requires meticulous attention to maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including the upkeep of ovens, production equipment, freezers, floors, walls, and bakery cases.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate responsibility, punctuality, and the ability to self-motivate in a fast-paced setting. The role demands compliance with all food safety standards, including proper date marking and quality control, to guarantee product freshness and safety. Physical stamina is important as the position requires standing for prolonged periods (4 to 8 hours), along with tasks involving carrying, bending, walking, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting items up to 30 pounds. Working overnight from approximately 8 pm to 5 am, the baker will also be responsible for the finishing tasks on donuts, such as filling and frosting, stocking the donut case, and cleaning the workstations and production areas at the end of each shift.
Communication, teamwork, and professionalism are critical since the baker will interact respectfully with team members and respond positively to coaching and feedback. The candidate must be able to operate restaurant equipment safely and efficiently, conform to brand standards, recipes, and system guidelines, and strictly follow safety, food safety, and sanitation protocols. The role involves multitasking and requires resilience under pressure while maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the work environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-driven individual looking to grow in a supportive, employee-focused environment that promotes from within, offers flexible scheduling, and values dedication and quality craftsmanship in food production.
