Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a bakery or food service environment
  • ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to baking
  • flexible availability for lunch and dinner shifts
  • strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • compliance with health and safety regulations
  • ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately

Job Qualifications

  • experience as a baker or bread maker with focus on focaccia bread
  • knowledge of baking techniques and dough handling
  • ability to operate commercial baking equipment safely
  • strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • excellent time management and organizational skills
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • prepare focaccia bread dough according to recipes and quality standards
  • knead, shape, and proof dough ensuring consistency and freshness
  • operate and maintain baking ovens, including open-hearth ovens
  • monitor baking process to achieve perfect texture, flavor, and appearance
  • assist in developing new focaccia flavors and recipes
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace
  • collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations
