Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • One year experience in bakery production of scratch mixing and frozen dough preferred
  • Ability to work with detergents and sanitizers up to 4 hour time periods
  • Ability to work at a fast-paced but controlled manner
  • Ability to perform physical aspects of the position including standing, bending, lifting, and walking
  • Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs
  • Ability to work within a freezer for up to 15 minutes
  • Possess technical skills to perform basic math and bakers calculations
  • Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits, and attitude
  • Must be flexible to work various hours/shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as required
  • Must maintain a current Food Safety Certification
  • Ability to function as a team member and get along with others

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous bakery production experience is a plus
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • Basic math skills and baker's calculations
  • Food safety certification
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Willingness to learn and accept supervisory coaching
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Acknowledge, greet, and engage guests entering the bakery department
  • Ensure quality and consistent product availability
  • Maintain a positive atmosphere and morale within the department
  • Support and execute division concepts and programs
  • Utilize bakery systems and processes consistently and correctly
  • Follow recipes and procedures using approved ingredients
  • Practice safe work habits and maintain cleanliness and safety
  • Adhere to food safety procedures and sanitation schedules
  • Assist in break-out and dishwashing as needed
  • Assist in training new team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
