Job Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
One year experience in bakery production of scratch mixing and frozen dough preferred
Ability to work with detergents and sanitizers up to 4 hour time periods
Ability to work at a fast-paced but controlled manner
Ability to perform physical aspects of the position including standing, bending, lifting, and walking
Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs
Ability to work within a freezer for up to 15 minutes
Possess technical skills to perform basic math and bakers calculations
Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits, and attitude
Must be flexible to work various hours/shifts including weekends and holidays
Attend meetings and training sessions as required
Must maintain a current Food Safety Certification
Ability to function as a team member and get along with others

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous bakery production experience is a plus
Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
Basic math skills and baker's calculations
Food safety certification
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Willingness to learn and accept supervisory coaching
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

Acknowledge, greet, and engage guests entering the bakery department
Ensure quality and consistent product availability
Maintain a positive atmosphere and morale within the department
Support and execute division concepts and programs
Utilize bakery systems and processes consistently and correctly
Follow recipes and procedures using approved ingredients
Practice safe work habits and maintain cleanliness and safety
Adhere to food safety procedures and sanitation schedules
Assist in break-out and dishwashing as needed
Assist in training new team members
Perform other duties as assigned by management
