Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • one year professional cooking experience
  • First Aid and CPR certified or able to obtain within 30 days of hire
  • Food Handler's Certificate or able to obtain within 14 days of hire
  • ability to follow recipes
  • ability to accommodate therapeutic diets
  • ability to perform duties in compliance with established Universal Precautions, fire safety, infection control and sanitation procedures, and Era Living policies and procedures
  • ability to read, write and communicate in English
  • ability to pass DSHS background check, required

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Makes Danish, scones, cinnamon rolls, muffins, cookies, etc as needed
  • plans and makes desserts for dinner and catering events
  • stocks, rotates, and ensures freshness and quality of product
  • maintains safety and sanitation standards in prep area, cooler, and freezer
  • supports morning cooks and assists Sous Chef with menu prep as needed
