Job Requirements

  • Great attitude, team mentality
  • Love of food and hospitality
  • 1+ years in the restaurant industry preferred but not required
  • 5am start time availability
  • Weekend and holiday availability
  • Knowledge of baking techniques, basic sourdough knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to read and follow a recipe
  • Basic culinary math skills, with knowledge of bakers' math
  • Lifting 50+ lbs, standing, navigating stairs, working in a kitchen with gluten and other allergens

Job Duties

  • Bake multiple types of sourdough and yeasted breads daily
  • Daily pastry production
  • Learning and maintaining bread recipes, techniques, and standards
  • Reading and adhering to cleaning and safety protocols
  • Being a team player, helping other departments with prep work, cleaning, etc.
  • Attending meetings, trainings, and focusing on continuing education
  • Analyzing mistakes, finished products, and daily tasks to maintain and improve quality
  • Work with team to create specials and specialty items
  • Work holidays, weekends and maintain a flexible schedule
