Job Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
Possess 1-2 years of bakery experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Be dependable and reliable
Be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Have an outgoing, friendly demeanor
Possess good communication skills
Be able to operate bakery equipment safely
Be able to stand for up to 3 hours continuously
Be able to lift and transfer items up to 40 lbs
Maintain a Food Handlers permit
Adhere to all safety and health regulations

Job Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent
Have 1-2 years bakery experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience
Show outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude
Possess good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Be able to operate bakery tools and equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
Maintain adherence to safety, health, and food handling regulations including holding a Food Handlers permit
Be dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring items

Job Duties

Assist the bakery manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
Provide a high level of customer service and ensure bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bakery area and equipment including cleaning shelves, floors, and removing hazardous debris
Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while rotating bakery products and discarding outdated items
Receive, inspect, and log bakery product shipments for accuracy, temperature, and quality
Operate bakery equipment and perform general housekeeping duties
Answer phones, take special orders, and interact positively with customers
