Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to maintain standing for extended periods up to 6 hours

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Measure and mix ingredients to produce bakery products including bread and pastries using precise café standards
  • Ensure correct quantities of baked goods are produced daily and coordinate with management on production schedules
  • Maintain baking environment by monitoring oven temperature, baking times, and quality presentation
  • Visually merchandise and display all products attractively
  • Receive and store inventory, proof and prepare items for baking to ensure consistent quality
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and properly sanitized
  • Demonstrate hospitality, respect, and friendly attitude towards guests and team members
  • Resolve problems promptly and inform management about issues
  • Provide on-the-job training for new bakers as needed
  • Perform prep and utility duties or backup tasks when required
  • Assist in café setup, refill, and maintenance of coffee, tea, oatmeal, and soup areas
  • Other related responsibilities as assigned
