P.F. Chang's is actively hiring for full-time and part-time Backwaiters at its new location in Norman. The Backwaiter plays an essential role in supporting restaurant operations by ensuring food is delivered to guests promptly and courteously, assisting with the cleanliness and maintenance of the dining area, and supporting various service stations throughout the restaurant. This role is critical in enhancing the overall dining experience, contributing to customer satisfaction, and supporting the smooth day-to-day workflow of the restaurant team.

The position offers a pay rate starting at $2.13 per hour plus tips, with compensation varying based on experience. P.F. Job Duties

  • Deliver food to guests efficiently and ensure all requests are met
  • Monitor the expo line, run trays of food for dine-in, and assist guests with any questions
  • Clear and sanitize tables, seating, and floors according to restaurant standards
  • Retrieve and transport dirty dishes to the dishwashing station
  • Restock and clean service stations as needed
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as coffee machines, iced tea machines, and POS systems
  • Interact courteously with guests and notify managers of quality or service concerns
  • Follow company policies, dress code, and safety procedures
  • Assist with greeting, seating guests, answering phones, and packaging takeout orders when necessary
  • Support with beverage preparation and responsible alcohol service when required
