The HomeGoods Store is seeking motivated individuals to join as part of their team, with this specific opportunity located at the Middleton, WI location. The role starts with an hourly pay range of $16.00 to $16.50, with actual pay depending on skills, qualifications, and experience. This position is integral to maintaining the high standards of merchandise presentation and customer service that TJX is known for. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards while ensuring smooth and efficient processing by associates. As a team leader in the store, this role demands a commitment to creating an excellent customer experience through effective communication, merchandise management, and adherence to company procedures. Responsibilities include orchestrating truck deliveries, training and mentoring associates, maintaining backroom organization, and promoting safety and shrink reduction goals.

Job Duties

  • Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
  • promotes a culture of honesty and integrity
  • orchestrates truck delivery prioritizing the processing of merchandise onto the sales floor
  • trains and mentors associates on merchandising and processing principles
  • ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
  • communicates with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to sales floor
  • ensures associates complete tasks and activities according to store plan prioritizing as needed
