The HomeGoods Store Associate role at TJX embodies these core values while emphasizing operational excellence and exceptional customer service. This role is responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards to ensure smooth and efficient processing of merchandise. Key duties include orchestrating truck deliveries, training associates on merchandising and processing principles, maintaining the store's cleanliness and organization, and delivering an outstanding customer experience by engaging with shoppers. As a role model in customer service, the associate is expected to promote a positive shopping atmosphere by interacting warmly with all customers, upholding high merchandising standards and signage, and ensuring the store layout supports product visibility and accessibility. They also play a critical part in managing back stock, monitoring team productivity, and assisting in the implementation of company policies related to labor laws, safety, shrink reduction, and credit and loyalty programs.

This position offers a starting pay range of $16.15 to $16.65 per hour, with actual pay determined by factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience. The role requires a flexible work schedule, including availability on nights and weekends, catering to the operational needs of the retail environment. The associate collaborates closely with coordinators, management, and other team members to prioritize tasks, provide progress updates, and foster a team-oriented workplace.
