The role available is within the TJ Maxx retail team located at the USA TJ Maxx Store 0257 in Oklahoma City, OK. This position is primarily responsible for receiving and merchandising merchandise efficiently to maintain a seamless customer experience. The role involves ensuring merchandise processing meets high standards, mentoring associates, and coordinating the flow of goods to the sales floor. This position requires hands-on leadership to uphold merchandising philosophy, maintain an organized and clean store environment, and support safety and compliance protocols. Employees will engage with customers to deliver excellent service, promote store loyalty programs, and contribute to store goals such as shrink reduction. This role offers an hourly wage starting from $13.75 to $14.25, depending on skills and qualifications, and is designed for individuals seeking a flexible, dynamic, and team-oriented retail environment. The position demands strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, and the capability to lead and train associates. Job Duties

  • Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
  • promotes a culture of honesty and integrity
  • orchestrates truck delivery prioritizing merchandise processing
  • trains and mentors associates on merchandising and processing
  • ensures merchandise is tagged, hung, secured, and coded properly
  • communicates with Coordinator on Duty for goods flow
  • ensures associates complete tasks according to store plan
  • monitors team productivity and coaches as needed
  • organizes and rotates back stock for replenishment
  • maintains merchandising philosophy and signage standards
  • maintains organization and cleanliness of backroom
  • ensures compliance with recycling and waste programs
  • communicates effectively with management and associates
  • provides and accepts recognition and feedback
  • partners with management on associate training
  • ensures adherence to labor laws and policies
