Job Duties
- Inspect clean and maintain food preparation areas and equipment to ensure safe and sanitary food handling practices
- ensure food is stored and cooked at proper temperatures
- ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking quality keeping track of expiration dates and rotating stock
- follow the brand's standards of quality control portion sizes and cooking methods
- stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to support smooth service periods
- follow the brand's recipes and guidelines for food preparation and presentation
- close the back of the house by following the kitchen closing checklist
- assist with food prep during off-peak periods as needed
- perform other duties as assigned by upper management
