The role we are seeking to fill is that of a Kitchen Team Member, an integral position that supports the smooth operation of our back-of-house kitchen. This role involves preparing ingredients and components according to precise recipe standards, which includes chopping, portioning, and assembling items for the cook line. You will assist the cook line during service by handling simple cooking tasks, plating dishes, and running food promptly to ensure the highest expedient standards are met. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness is crucial; therefore, responsibilities include washing dishes, sanitizing workstations, and adhering to scheduled cleaning protocols.
This role also involves receiving and organizing deliveries, rotating stock with proper FIFO (First In, First Out) principles, and helping with basic inventory counts and storage. Adherence to food safety and sanitation procedures is mandatory, including maintaining correct temperature controls and being aware of allergen management. Operating kitchen equipment safely and performing routine setup and closing duties form an important part of your day-to-day tasks. Strong communication skills are essential to effectively collaborate with both Back of House and Front of House team members to ensure smooth service and quick turnaround times.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items up to 50 lbs
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation protocols
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Availability to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed for a part-time schedule
- Ability to stand walk and lift up to 50 lbs comfortable in a fast-paced physically active environment
- Reliable punctual and able to follow direction in a team setting
- Basic food-safety awareness and willingness to complete any required training
- Legal authorization to work in the U. S.
- Prior experience in a restaurant or fast-casual kitchen 0-1 year acceptable for entry-level
- Food handler card or ServSafe certification
- Familiarity with grill line cooking and working with high-volume service
- Interest in growing within the company into prep cook line cook or shift leader roles
- Positive attitude strong teamwork skills and a passion for food and hospitality
Job Duties
- Prepare ingredients and components to recipe standards chopping portioning and assembling items for the line
- Support the cook line during service by executing simple cooking tasks plating and running food to expedient standards
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness wash dishes sanitize workstations and follow scheduled cleaning tasks
- Receive organize and rotate deliveries help with basic stock counts and storage following FIFO principles
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures including proper temperature controls and allergen awareness
