The BOH Team Member will prepare menu items according to established recipes, ensure proper cooking and presentation, and maintain a clean workspace by following rigorous sanitation protocols. Operating kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, and ovens safely and efficiently forms a core part of the responsibilities, alongside monitoring food temperatures to uphold quality and safety.
This position demands a team-oriented individual capable of working under pressure while delivering high-quality food consistently to satisfy customer expectations. The BOH Team Member collaborates closely with other kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel to coordinate orders and facilitate smooth kitchen operations. Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Prepare menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food items are cooked and presented according to quality and portion control standards
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, such as grills, fryers, and ovens
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food is cooked properly
- Assemble orders accurately and promptly to meet customer demands
- Follow all food safety guidelines and procedures, including proper handwashing, sanitation, and storage practices
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils
- Perform regular temperature checks on refrigerators, freezers, and cooking equipment
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or issues to the Kitchen Manager
- Rotate stock and ensure FIFO and proper labeling to maintain freshness and prevent waste
- Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to coordinate orders and special requests
- Assist in training new kitchen team members as needed
- Occasionally interact with customers to answer questions or handle special requests
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality food consistently
