The Back of House Team Member is responsible for preparing, cooking, assembling, and presenting food in a manner that consistently meets Chick-fil-A’s high standards. This includes working knowledge of various kitchen stations such as fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep. Team members must remain knowledgeable about new products rolled out by the company and follow all opening and closing procedures as assigned by leadership. Maintaining the kitchen’s cleanliness and order is essential, as is working safely with kitchen equipment and promptly reporting any maintenance issues. This position demands strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and a customer-service-oriented mindset. Team members must be reliable, positive, and capable of working independently or as part of a team. Physical requirements include the ability to lift between 25 to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods. Job Duties
- Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards
- Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep
- Stock kitchen inventory as needed
- Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times
- Keep up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A
- Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership
- Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes
- Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
- Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
- Other duties as assigned
