The role of a Back of House Team Member at Pizza Ranch is vital to maintaining the restaurant’s high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction. This position is focused on kitchen operations including food preparation, safety processes, order processing, and cleanliness. Back of House team members contribute behind the scenes by preparing pizza, chicken, and other menu items while ensuring that all orders are coordinated efficiently and delivered accurately. In addition, maintaining a clean and organized dish room and kitchen environment is a core responsibility.

The Back of House role requires a physically active individual capable of mobility and standing for extended periods during shifts. Responsibilities also include reaching, bending, lifting up to 40 pounds, sweeping, mopping, and overall maintaining kitchen sanitation standards. Team members must be team players who can positively interact with both guests and fellow employees. While previous restaurant experience is preferred, it is not mandatory, making this role accessible to individuals eager to learn and grow in the food service industry.

Job Duties

  • prepare food and ensure food safety standards

  • assist with general kitchen duties including sweeping and mopping
  • collaborate positively with team members and support front of house when needed
