Job Description
Pet Paradise is a leading full-service pet care company dedicated to providing premium care and services to pets and their owners. The company has established itself as a premier provider of resort-style pet day camp, grooming, veterinary care, and overnight boarding services across ten states with over 60 locations either in operation or development. Pet Paradise is committed to enriching the lives of pets and their families by offering a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where pets receive attentive and loving care. The brand focuses on delivering high-quality, low-stress experiences for pets, helping them to live happier, healthier, and longer lives. This commitment extends to their employees, whom they refer to as “pet people” — those passionate about animals and dedicated to excellence in pet care.
Pet Paradise is currently seeking experienced and charismatic individuals to join their team as Resort Supervisors. This position offers a starting wage of $16.50 per hour, with scheduled increases of $0.50 at six months and an additional $0.50 on the annual anniversary date. The Resort Supervisor role is ideal for those who have leadership experience, are enthusiastic about working with animals, and are eager to grow professionally within a dynamic company.
As a Resort Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing day-to-day operations at the resort, ensuring every pet guest enjoys the highest standard of care. You will be responsible for directly supervising Resort Associates and Playtime Coordinators, coaching and training team members according to established company policies and standards. Your leadership will cultivate a team environment focused on safety, cleanliness, and exceptional customer service to both pets and their parents. Beyond daily management duties, you will assist the broader management team with employee training, assignment delegation, and performance reviews. The Resort Supervisor will be entrusted with maintaining a safe and healthy environment by reporting hazards or behavioral concerns promptly to management.
This role requires a hands-on leader willing to engage in the physical aspects of pet care including feeding, exercising, and maintaining clean pet suites and common areas. You will also help new and existing team members complete their training modules and job guides, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. The position demands flexibility as the resort operates during days, nights, weekends, holidays, and peak periods, and the Supervisor must be willing to adjust schedules accordingly.
Working at Pet Paradise means becoming part of a family that values career growth and offers multiple opportunities for advancement through specialized programs. Team members can apply to the Unleashed Leadership Academy for leadership training or expand skill sets by participating in the Dog Training Academy or Grooming Academy, both offering scholarships for certification. Employees receive remarkable benefits that include complimentary pet day camp, boarding, discounts on veterinary care and grooming, paid time off, 401(k) with company matching, health insurance options, and mental health support through an Employee Assistance Program. Pet Paradise is a drug-free, smoke-free, equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion, providing reasonable accommodations to enable all employees to succeed and perform their key duties effectively.
