As a well-respected restaurant, Roost continuously strives to uphold high standards of food quality, safety, and guest satisfaction, which contributes significantly to its ongoing success and growth in a competitive market.

Joining Roost as a Back-of-House Manager means taking on a critical leadership role within the kitchen environment. This role is ideal for a servant leader who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic settings and is dedicated to fostering a positive, accountable, and growth-oriented kitchen culture. The Back-of-House Manager is expected to recruit, train, mentor, and develop a team of Prep Cooks and Line Cooks, empowering them to perform at their best while cultivating an environment where teamwork and accountability are emphasized. The manager also collaborates closely with front-of-house leadership to ensure smooth communication and create outstanding guest experiences.

Moreover, the Back-of-House Manager is responsible for key operational tasks such as managing food costs, controlling inventory, scheduling labor strategically, and ensuring compliance with health regulations and sanitation practices. This leadership role demands a balance of strong operational expertise and interpersonal skills, requiring the manager to juggle multiple responsibilities, including shift leadership and addressing challenges promptly to maintain a seamless kitchen workflow.
