This full-time position starts early in the morning between 4am and 5am and demands individuals who thrive in an active, hands-on setting. The role primarily involves preparing, boiling, topping, and baking bagels to precise specifications, using specialized mixing and rotating baking equipment. Beyond bagels, the team member will also engage in baking cookies and other complementary goods, as well as prepping ingredients like cream cheese and vegetables. As a physical and fast-paced role, it requires candidates who enjoy moving swiftly and maintain high standards consistently. Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the workspace is essential, alongside managing inventory and assisting with store opening and closing activities.
