Job Description

CACI International Inc is a leading provider of information solutions and services in the defense, intelligence community, and federal civilian government sectors. With its headquarters strategically located in the United States, CACI delivers innovative technology and expertise to support national security missions and government operations. The company is well-regarded for its commitment to integrity, innovation, and excellence, investing heavily in workforce development and continuous growth opportunities for its employees. Known for fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment, CACI emphasizes a culture of trust and personal accountability, providing employees with robust learning resources and the flexibility needed to balance work and life commitments.

The position offered is for an Azure DevOps Administrator within the Navy Maritime Maintenance Enterprise Solution (NMMES) program under the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA). This program provides the essential IT backbone for public shipyards and regional maintenance centers, facilitating the modernization of ship maintenance by integrating data related to planning, engineering, materials, and execution. This full-time, regular employee role is located onsite in Norfolk, VA, and requires an active Secret security clearance due to the sensitive nature of the work. The role involves significant technical responsibilities centered around configuring and customizing Microsoft Azure DevOps to align with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). The administrator will manage source control systems, primarily Git repositories, establish and maintain branching and merging strategies, and provide ongoing collaboration between development, testing, and operations teams to enable smooth workflows.

In addition to operational tasks, the role entails creating clear, detailed documentation and educating software teams about Azure DevOps and Git best practices. The candidate will play a key role in automating software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes, supporting innovation, and capturing relevant metrics to improve efficiency and effectiveness. This position requires at least seven years of experience in software engineering or application deployment, including five years specifically in Azure DevOps administration or a similar role. Proficiency with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline design and management, scripting skills particularly in PowerShell, and strong problem-solving capabilities relevant to Azure DevOps and Git tools are vital.

Beyond the technical skills, desirable qualifications include experience with automated build pipelines, configuration of Azure DevOps environments supporting SAFe practices, integration with platforms like ServiceNow, and familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. Certifications related to SAFe DevOps practices would be advantageous, reinforcing the candidate's ability to facilitate agile methodologies across the development process.

CACI offers a competitive salary range of $73,800 to $155,100, commensurate with experience and qualifications, alongside comprehensive benefits. These benefits include healthcare, wellness programs, financial and retirement plans, family support services, continuing education opportunities, and generous paid time off. Working at CACI means joining a mission-driven company where innovation and integrity guide daily activities, all aimed at safeguarding the nation while advancing individual career growth and achievement.
