The AYA Rooftop Restaurant Server position is a vital role within the resort’s dining operations, particularly focusing on delivering an exceptional dining experience in a high-end restaurant setting. The server will be responsible for attending to guests with attentiveness and professionalism, ensuring every visit to the restaurant is memorable. This position requires someone who is knowledgeable about the menu, including seasonal items and wine pairings, and who can provide thoughtful recommendations to enhance the guest dining experience. Servers will be expected to take accurate orders, deliver food and beverages promptly, and maintain coordination between the front-of-house team and kitchen staff to uphold the restaurant’s standard of excellence.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous food service experience preferred
Strong communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Customer service orientation
Proficiency in POS system use
Able to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
Must adhere to health and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Redefine hospitality by promoting company values

Maintain in-depth knowledge of food and beverage offerings
Follow departmental steps of service consistently
Take accurate food and beverage orders including recommendations for seasonal menu items and wine pairings
Proficiently use the POS system
Deliver food and beverages promptly with correct presentation
Provide attentive, friendly, and personalized service
Maintain organized and clean dining and service areas
Anticipate guest needs and address concerns quickly
Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
Process payments accurately following company procedures
Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards
Assist with dining area setup and breakdown
