The host is responsible for managing the flow of guest reservations, waitlists, and walk-ins using the OpenTable reservation system, guaranteeing a smooth and balanced seat allocation. Maintaining an organized, clean, and professional host stand and entrance area forms part of the daily duties. This role requires excellent communication skills to clearly convey wait times and manage guest inquiries both in person and over the phone.
