Job Description
Synchrony is a leading financial services company dedicated to delivering innovative and seamless financial solutions to millions of customers across the United States. Headquartered in the state of California, Synchrony specializes in credit products and services designed to improve financial wellness and simplify consumers' lives. With a strong commitment to technology, data, and digital transformation, Synchrony fosters an inclusive culture where passionate innovators collaborate to drive impactful results and provide best-in-class experiences for their clients and partners. The company values individual growth, encouraging employees to express their ideas and contribute meaningfully to the organization’s mission and vision.
The role offered is a full-time position based in the Los Angeles metropolitan area with an attractive annual salary range between 75,000 and 130,000 USD, along with eligibility for an annual bonus subject to both individual and company performance. The successful candidate will be part of Synchrony’s Sales and Relationship Management team and will focus on driving the growth of the OnePay credit program within an assigned Walmart territory. This role requires a strategic individual who can partner effectively with Market and Store leadership teams to boost the number of credit applications, new accounts, and overall credit sales.
The responsibilities of this position encompass ownership of in-store execution strategies by building and maintaining strong client relationships, leading both market and store-level engagements, providing comprehensive training sessions, and ensuring consistent and compliant implementation of regional credit growth initiatives. The position demands a hands-on approach to managing marketing programs, merchandising campaigns, point-of-sale material rollouts, and increasing credit awareness among store associates and customers through targeted events and programs. Effective collaboration with market leadership, travel for engagement, performance analysis, competitive monitoring, and budget management are essential elements of the role. Additionally, the role includes supporting store openings and relocations alongside key external stakeholders and leading various special projects and critical tasks as assigned by senior management.
Candidates must reside within the Los Angeles metro area due to the role’s significant travel and on-site requirements. Synchrony offers a flexible working model that balances remote work options with the necessity of physical presence at hub locations for business meetings, team collaboration, training, and cultural events, ensuring a dynamic and engaging work atmosphere. The organization places a strong emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion, welcoming candidates from all backgrounds and fostering an environment where every employee’s voice is valued and respected. Synchrony also complies with all legal and regulatory employment requirements, including drug testing, background checks, and eligibility to work in the U.S., reinforcing a commitment to maintaining a safe and equitable workplace. This position represents an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to advance their careers in financial services sales, client relationship management, and strategic business growth within a supportive and innovative corporate culture.
