This position is pivotal in overseeing and managing the aircraft cabin cleaning staff operations at San Diego Airport, specifically supporting Southwest Airlines gates. The role entails the comprehensive supervision of the cleaning team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and service quality are met in a fast-paced airport environment. Working primarily the overnight shift from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am, Monday through Friday with occasional weekend duties, this role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to foster a positive working culture focused on safety and efficiency. The hourly pay for this position is $23.50, with the actual offer depending on the candidate's experience, skills, and geographic location. Responsibilities include maintaining robust client relationships by serving as the main point of contact, planning and assigning work schedules, training staff on cleaning protocols, safety measures, and property security, and managing emergency cleaning situations promptly. The role also involves monitoring employee timekeeping to ensure adherence to schedules and company policies, promoting staff retention, and improving service delivery by identifying opportunities for additional project work. The successful candidate will be resourceful, detail-oriented, and possess the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients alike, supporting ABM's mission to deliver excellence in facility services.

Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
- ability to operate company vehicles to and from customer work sites
- must have a valid driver license
- at least 2 years of experience supervising employees
- MS Office proficiency
- proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- detail-oriented with high accuracy
- strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization skills
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience supervising employees
- experience with aircraft cabin cleaning industry is a big plus
- experience effectively managing teams: solid staff retention, counseling and developing team members
- MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) proficiency required
- proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to give effective presentations to small and large groups

Job Duties
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships with a positive customer service orientation
- serve as main point-of-contact for client liaisons, meeting regularly to confirm quality standards are met and service issues are promptly resolved
- provide leadership and support while being available for emergency and off-hour support
- promote strong safety culture and work environment
- train staff to utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe movement practices
- plan and assign work schedules to ensure service delivery expectations are achieved
- ensure timely responses to client-reported emergency cleaning situations
