The Aviation Trainer position at ABM plays a critical role in maintaining the highest levels of quality, safety, and compliance for frontline employees engaged in aircraft cabin cleaning and airport janitorial services. The Aviation Trainer conducts onboarding and ongoing training for cabin cleaning crews, janitorial staff, and supervisors, focusing on hands-on instruction of aircraft cabin cleaning techniques, including galleys, lavatories, and seating areas. They develop comprehensive training programs covering cleaning procedures, equipment usage, and safety protocols, ensuring that all team members comply with company standards, client requirements, and standard operating procedures.

Additionally, the Aviation Trainer ensures compliance with OSHA, FAA, and airport authority regulations by training employees on safety standards, personal protective equipment usage, and hazardous materials handling. This role involves conducting safety briefings, audits, refresher training, and maintaining accurate training records and certifications. The Aviation Trainer also performs quality assurance activities such as site observations and inspections to verify proper cleaning techniques and service delivery, identifying performance gaps, and retraining employees as necessary. Collaboration with operations managers and supervisors is essential to support workforce readiness, facilitate new account startups and transitions, and assist with scheduling training sessions across multiple shifts and locations.

This position offers an hourly rate of $17.00, with specific offers varying based on experience, skills, geographic location, and market data alignment. The role includes eligibility for ABM’s 401(k) plan, with personal contributions starting after 30 days of employment and company matching beginning after six months. ABM matches dollar for dollar for the first 3% of contributions and partially matches for the next 2%, with immediate vesting of all contributions and matches.
