The Aviation Supervisor, Cabin Services role is a vital leadership position within ABM's aviation service operations, specifically focusing on overseeing daily aircraft cabin cleaning tasks. This role ensures that all assigned flights are serviced safely, efficiently, and adhere to strict airline, airport, and company standards. Operating primarily on the 2nd shift, this position commands a team of cabin cleaners, guiding them to meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety necessary for timely departures.

The Aviation Supervisor is responsible for coordinating staffing and work assignments in alignment with flight schedules to promote on-time performance goals. This role involves conducting rigorous quality inspections to verify that all cleaning tasks—from cabins and galleys to lavatories and seating areas—are executed with precision, complying with SARS-CoV, airline regulations, and safety protocols. The supervisor also handles training, coaching, and developing staff to ensure adherence to cleaning procedures, operational safety, customer service expectations, and company policies.

Additional responsibilities include monitoring employee productivity, attendance, and performance, providing constructive feedback and recognition to motivate the team. The supervisor must maintain compliance with FAA regulations, airport security requirements, OSHA guidelines, and company policies, ensuring a secure and safe working environment. Effective communication with airline representatives, airport personnel, and operations management is essential, as is the investigation and documentation of operational issues, delays, safety incidents, or accidents.

Beyond operational oversight, the Aviation Supervisor supports administrative functions such as recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and payroll activities. The role ensures the appropriate use, storage, and maintenance of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies, particularly during irregular operations, flight delays, and peak travel periods when operational demands intensify.

This role requires a valid state driver’s license held for a minimum of one year and candidates must be at least 21 years old. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience in aviation, cabin services, housekeeping, hospitality, facilities, or related sectors. Preferred candidates come with airline or airport operations experience, strong leadership and organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proficiency with basic computer software like Microsoft Office and the ability to obtain and maintain airport security badges and credentials are also essential.

The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $20.50, with pay commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location.
