Job Description
Lelch is a premier company specializing in residential, commercial, and lighting solutions, established in 2011. Known for its commitment to excellence, Lelch has set the industry standard by delivering outstanding customer service and innovative expertise in designing and installing memorable experiences for its clients. This industry-leading company prides itself on its team of expert designers, visionaries, and implementers who collaborate to enhance the everyday lives of those they serve. Lelch values creating excellent experiences, being responsive, fostering trust, and making the impossible possible, which collectively drive the company’s remarkable growth and reputation.
The role available at Lelch is for an experienced residential audiovisual (AV) and technology system designer, with a strong focus on the luxury residential sector. This position is fully remote and requires a candidate based in the United States as no visa sponsorship is available. It is a full-time opportunity, requiring 40 hours per week, with standard working hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm CST, Monday through Friday. The successful candidate will report to Lucas, a senior engineer, who will guide and support their development and contributions.
The designer is expected to have a robust skill set including expertise in design, layout, drafting, and proposal creation for residential technology systems using tools like CAD and Revit, though Revit experience is ideal. A deep understanding of control systems such as Crestron, Control4, and Savant, as well as lighting and shading systems including Lutron, and network infrastructures is essential. The role requires a thorough understanding of signal flow, networks, and the phases of construction projects to effectively contribute to the design and engineering documentation for implementing low-voltage systems in high-end residences.
Apart from technical skills, the ideal candidate is a collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with sales teams and directly with clients, demonstrating a high emotional quotient (EQ) and a professional, pleasant demeanor. This individual thrives on creating systems that enhance client lifestyles and finding innovative ways to bring such projects to successful completion. Stability in work history, evidenced by a minimum of three years between job changes, is highly valued, reflecting the company’s preference for dependable and committed professionals.
Lelch provides a competitive compensation package with a salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually. Employees benefit from comprehensive healthcare covering medical, dental, and vision insurance. Additionally, there is a 401k plan with a 4% match to support employees’ long-term financial security. The company also offers 10 days of paid time off along with 8 paid holidays. Employees enjoy additional perks such as an employee discount, fostering a supportive and rewarding work environment.
Joining Lelch means becoming part of a culture that nurtures excellence, responsiveness, trust, and innovation. This opportunity allows a talented residential AV/technology designer to contribute meaningfully to high-profile projects while supporting personal and professional growth within a respected industry leader.
