Job Duties
- Assist in the preparation of doughs, creams, fillings, and glazes
- support the creation of cakes, tarts, cookies, sweet breads, and other pastry products
- decorate and apply final touches to pastry products under the supervision of the Pastry Chef
- weigh, measure, and organize ingredients following standardized recipes
- ensure proper storage of raw materials and finished products
- maintain cleanliness and order in the work area, utensils, and equipment
- comply with hygiene, safety, and food handling regulations such as HACCP and ServSafe
- assist in inventory control and report restocking needs
