Automotive Shop Assistant and Porter

Located at 5312 Phoenix Ave, NE, Albuquerque, NM, our auto shop is a fast-paced, full-service automotive repair and maintenance facility dedicated to providing top-quality service to our valued customers. We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Automotive Shop Assistant / Porter for a full-time position with a competitive hourly wage ranging from $15 to $18 depending on experience. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM with rotating Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This position plays a crucial supporting role within the shop operations and provides an excellent opportunity to build a career in the automotive industry.

As a Shop Assistant / Porter, you will be essential to the smooth daily functioning of the shop by maintaining cleanliness and organization of the facility, assisting with customer vehicle check-ins and check-outs, and supporting both technicians and service advisors with their daily tasks. Additionally, you will be responsible for safely moving and organizing vehicles in the lot, shuttling customers to and from their homes or workplaces using the company vehicle, running errands including parts pick-up, and providing front desk support when needed. This role requires a hands-on individual who is eager to learn and has a positive attitude, as no two days are exactly the same in our busy shop environment.
