Our dealerships are well-known for their commitment to excellence, a robust selection of vehicles, and dedicated team members who work cohesively to uphold top standards in the automotive sales and service industry. Joining our team means becoming part of a dynamic environment where growth and professional development are encouraged, with an emphasis on teamwork, reliability, and customer satisfaction. We operate a full-time employment model and offer a competitive pay scale reflective of experience alongside an inclusive benefits package designed to support our employees' well-being and career advancement.
The Sales and Service Lot Porter position is an ideal entry-level opportunity for individuals eager to start their career in the automotive industry with a reputable company. This role is essential in maintaining the overall appearance and organization of the dealership lot, ensuring that vehicles are properly prepared and presented for sales and service activities. Porters play a vital role in supporting both the sales and service departments by managing the movement, inspection, and cleaning of vehicles, as well as assisting with logistical tasks to optimize lot usage. Responsibilities include comparing serial numbers of incoming vehicles against invoices, inspecting cars for damage and missing items, verifying accessories such as spare tires and navigation cards, and using appropriate equipment to clean and service automotive parts. Additionally, the Porter will park new vehicles efficiently to maximize space and uphold visual standards, maintain proper functioning of all service tools, coordinate effectively with team members and management, and contribute to a safe and customer-focused environment. Candidates who demonstrate dependability, professionalism, and a positive, can-do attitude will thrive in this role. This full-time position offers a base hourly wage between $16.90 and $19.00, depending on experience, alongside thorough pay and benefit plans discussed in detail during the interview process. This role requires a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and excellent communication skills, making it a perfect fit for those passionate about automobiles and customer service, looking to grow their careers with a reputable automotive dealership group. We welcome applicants aged 18 or older who have a general familiarity with various automobiles and seek to build their expertise in a supportive, fast-paced industry environment.
