Known for its committed ownership and supportive team environment, Miller Chevrolet has established itself as a trusted name in the automotive industry for the local community. The dealership prides itself on offering exemplary customer service and comprehensive automotive solutions, ranging from new and pre-owned vehicle sales to expert vehicle servicing and maintenance. With a focus on fostering a positive workplace culture and creating opportunities for career growth, Miller Chevrolet stands out as an employer that values reliability, teamwork, and customer satisfaction. The dealership provides a professional yet welcoming atmosphere where employees are encouraged to develop their skills and take on new responsibilities, making it an ideal workplace for those looking to launch or advance their careers in the automotive sector.
The role of Automotive Service Porter & Shuttle Driver at Miller Chevrolet is a key position within the Service Department. This full-time role offers an hourly wage of $18.00 and operates on a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with no evenings or weekend shifts required. This makes it an attractive opportunity for individuals seeking stable work hours and a balanced work-life schedule. The role is designed for dependable, friendly individuals who enjoy staying active, driving, and interacting with customers. Importantly, no prior automotive experience is necessary as the dealership provides comprehensive paid training to ensure all employees are well-equipped to succeed.
As an Automotive Service Porter & Shuttle Driver, you will be a vital contributor to the smooth operation of the Service Department. Your responsibilities will include greeting and assisting customers in the service drive, safely transporting customers via the courtesy shuttle, organizing and managing customer vehicles throughout the dealership, and maintaining a clean and presentable service area. Additionally, you will be tasked with fueling vehicles, picking up parts and supplies, performing road tests for technicians, and assisting service advisors and other team members. The role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently within a busy environment, including outdoor work such as snow removal and seasonal maintenance. The position promotes a professional, customer-focused attitude and requires individuals to be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented, but also capable of working independently.
Overall, this position is an excellent entry point for individuals interested in the automotive industry, offering growth opportunities within the Service Department or other dealership areas. If you are someone who enjoys working with people, appreciates a steady schedule, and is motivated to grow professionally, Miller Chevrolet invites you to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.
