The Service Porter position at Woodhouse Auto Family offers a full-time opportunity located at the Ford dealership on 3633 N 72nd St, Omaha, NE. This role operates from Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with an hourly pay range of $15.00 to $16.00. The Service Porter is essential for ensuring the seamless flow of vehicles within the service department. This involves transporting vehicles to and from service bays, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the service area, assisting service advisors and technicians, and supporting the overall efficiency and customer satisfaction in the service department.

Job Requirements

At least 18 years old
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Post offer background check
Post offer drug screening
Post offer non-DOT driver physical
Post offer lift test
Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
Ability to perform physical tasks such as vehicle lifting and transportation
Willingness to comply with all dealership policies and safety standards

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Previous experience in an automotive or dealership environment preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
Valid certifications for occupational health screenings such as lift test (preferred)
Customer service experience

Job Duties

Transport vehicles between service bays, customer parking areas, and other dealership locations
Maintain cleanliness of service bays, parking lots, and service areas
Assist service advisors and technicians with basic tasks as needed
Operate dealership vehicles safely and responsibly
Perform vehicle inspections and report any issues to service management
Support customer interactions with professionalism and courtesy
Adhere to dealership safety protocols and procedures
