As a well-known dealership within the automotive sales industry, it offers a comprehensive range of vehicles and supports its sales and service departments through various operational roles. This dealership is committed to creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring that all vehicles are presented in optimal condition to meet customer expectations and industry standards. Employment type is typically full-time, consisting of at least 8-hour shifts, and may require availability to work on feet throughout the shift. The role being offered is that of a Vehicle Detailer and Lot Attendant, a vital position responsible for supporting both the service and sales departments through cleaning, detailing, and moving vehicles around the dealership premises. This includes transferring cars between different dealerships, assisting with the presentation of vehicles on the lot, and retrieving customer vehicles once service is complete. The position also requires basic upkeep of dealership premises by cleaning driveways, sidewalks, and removing snow or debris to guarantee a safe and appealing environment.

The role demands a high level of physical activity, including standing for extended periods and maneuvering around vehicles to perform detailing tasks proficiently. Operators must be capable of safely driving vehicles within the dealership, including moving cars to service lanes, parking areas, and between lots. The position requires a proactive attitude, ready to assist dealership management and sales teams when needed, and a commitment to upholding a positive, can-do approach summarized in the motto "How can I always help?". The vehicle detailer must communicate effectively with the team leader when not occupied and remain flexible to perform additional duties as assigned.

Candidates applying for this role should possess a valid driver’s license meeting the dealership's insurability requirements and be willing to obtain any required certificates or registrations mandated by the dealership. Additional essential skills include an ability to comprehend simple written and verbal instructions, recognize patterns in numbers and words, and perform basic arithmetic operations related to money, volume, weight, and distance measurements. This foundational knowledge supports compliance with safety protocols and operational procedures.

In summary, this position offers an exciting opportunity to work in an automotive environment where attention to detail, excellent customer service, and physical stamina are crucial. It provides valuable hands-on experience in dealership operations, vehicle maintenance, and customer interaction, ideal for candidates eager to build a career in automotive sales or service support.
