The Service Assistant/Porter role at Flow Land Rover of Greensboro is a crucial position within the automotive service team, directly impacting the efficiency and quality of the customer experience in the service lane. The Service Assistant/Porter acts as the frontline contact for customers, greeting them warmly, assisting with their immediate needs, and ensuring smooth coordination with service advisors. This position involves a variety of responsibilities, including managing vehicle logistics such as parking, moving, and dispatching vehicles for service, as well as maintaining loaner vehicles in excellent condition. Key duties also include assisting with vehicle detailing, performing test drives, providing valet support, and supporting the service team with any additional tasks as requested.

Job Requirements
- Must be available to work a 40 hour a week schedule that falls between Monday through Saturday
- valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- ability to stand, walk, bend, sit, and enter or exit vehicles throughout the day
- team oriented attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed
- ability to safely move and operate customer and dealership vehicles
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in automotive service or customer service roles is a plus but not required
- valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- willingness to learn and contribute proactively
- dependable and motivated with a strong customer-focused attitude
Job Duties
- Greet customers in the service lane and assist with their immediate needs
- introduce customers with appointments to service advisors and help coordinate alternate transportation when needed
- assist with parking, moving, and dispatching vehicles for service
- monitor and maintain loaner vehicles including cleanliness and fuel level
- assist with vehicle detailing, test drives, and valet support as needed
- complete loaner vehicle walkarounds with customers and report any damage
- support management and service staff with additional tasks and projects as needed
